The 2026 Fishing Tournament is Here!

We are happy to announce the Peace King fishing tournament, celebrating True Parents’ 66th Holy Wedding Anniversary. The tournament will be held for 10 days on the Hudson River and adjacent bays in NY and NJ area.

The First Annual “True Parents’ Holy Wedding Anniversary Fishing Tournament” was established by Father and Mother Moon in April of 2000 on the Hudson River and in August of 2000 in Alaska as international tournaments to be held each year in America.

This fishing tournament is a community event for the members of the Family Federation for the Heavenly USA and their families and guests.

We welcome individuals and groups. 

WHEN & WHERE

Fishing Period: FRIDAY, May 15th ~ Sunday, May 24th (10 days)

Fishing Area: New York Harbor, East River, and Raritan Bay.

Meet at: Elco Fisherman's Marina, 50 Marine Dr., Bayonne, NJ 07002

Be at the docks at 6:30 am sharp

Boats will be back at the dock by 4PM.

You can also register ONLY to go to the Awards Ceremony below ($10). Online registration fee is a discounted price. The registration fee at the door will be $15/ person.

The PKC Awards Ceremony celebrates more than just our tournament winners. It honors the profound legacy of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han through Ocean Providence—a global initiative dedicated to harnessing the maritime industry to end world hunger and poverty.

We invite you to join us for an afternoon with good food as we celebrate this powerful vision and a path toward our future impact.

TOURNAMENT FEE (1-time per participant)

  • $40 one-time ENTRY FEE per participant to enter (including children)

  • PLUS boating fee (per day if you go out more than once, see below)

  • Participants MUST reserve a spot on our boat to go out to fish on one of our boats.

  • You may reserve multiple days (separate boating fee per spot)

PRIZES

FIRST PRIZE: $1500

SECOND PRIZE: $1000

THIRD PRIZE: $500

*If a winning striped bass is under 38″, half cash prize awarded. 

FISH SPECIES: Striped Bass (Morone saxatilis)

MEASUREMENT: The winning fish is the largest by length. If two or more fish are the same length, the heaviest fish is the winner.

BOATING (Fee separate from entry fee):

  • Fishing is available with a qualified captain aboard an Ocean Tribe vessel for the following fee:

    • Adult: *$80 per person for one-day fishing. Includes fishing pole, bait, and tackle rental.

    • Child: (13 and under): $50 per person per day. Includes fishing pole, bait, and tackle rental.

    • To reserve your spot, please make a reservation through the registration form below


      *TIPPING: We’re operating close to cost, and any tipping for the captains is greatly appreciated!

TIME:

On the day you registered for fishing, please come to the dock (address below) at:

6:30AM

Fishing is best in the morning, and we would like to provide the best opportunity to catch a large fish for everyone!

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Participants are responsible for bringing: food, drink, rain gear/boots (if weather looks bad), medication (if necessary), and camera/phone (you are responsible for any damage or loss in the event your belongings go missing or gets damaged).
    It is COLDER ON WATER than on land, so we recommend bringing extra clothes.

    FISHING GEAR:

  • We will supply fishing rods, but they are not new nor the best equipment. We recommend buying and bringing your own fishing rods if you plan to participate in our annual tournaments! Please let us know if you need any recommendations on buying new fishing rods. Bait will be provided.

*When entering the destination into your GPS, please enter “Elco Fisherman’s Marina” first, to get the accurate location!! Some GPS takes you to a nearby but WRONG location if you just enter the address.

*Boat Passenger Waiver* 

On the fishing day, all participants will be asked sign a boat passenger waiver form. Parent/guardian must sign the form for passengers that are minors. Thank you. The form will be emailed to all participants upon registration. Please print it out and sign it to save some time in the morning.

A free NJ and NY saltwater license is required to fish for anyone who is 16 years old and older.

Remember to PRINT OUT both licenses and bring them with you! OR be ready to display them on your phone.
